My husband and I bought this bed 6 years ago for our bedroom and cannot praise it hight enough. Made of solid mahogany with beautiful finish and quality brass fittings holding it together,[...] It proved to be absolutely solid, it is certainly built to last. I love the fact that it is much higher off the floor than most modern beds, so being elevated and with posts defining the space inside it, if feels like being in a room within the room. The space under the bed provides ample storage. The design is simple enough not to feel over the top, but still providing interest of form. Contrary to popular belief that four poster beds require ample space and cost a small fortune, I am still amazed how well it fits within our average size bedroom and how reasonably priced it was.
